Grow on tank/set up for sale and possibly full pond setup with koi for good homes
Hi all, its been a long while. So no beating around the bush, long story short the house is on the market and we are looking to move hopefully soon. The place we are setting our hearts on doesn’t have half the size of garden as here and a pond will no doubt be lower down the list of priority’s. A few fish will be going to relatives but they cant take them all. Its going to break my heart but some are going to have to go i think.
The main thing I need out the way is the grow on/hosp tank though. Its a freestanding 1100 ltr solid formed fibreglass tank with 2” bottom drain fitted. I will get all the measurements properly and put them here and also If i can link my grow on build and grow on threads from a few years back here for anyone more interested. Unfortunately It would be pick up only from hull area but will go in the back of a transit van (just i think). Its still a bit early days but i will list anything on here over the coming weeks. No doubt have a few UV units, and bits and bobs like rubber boots etc... that can go.
There will very likely be a QK22 standalone drum for sale too once the fish are sorted. I wont want silly money just something to go in the pot for the future.
Cheers
Lee

I had the same when moving my Dad’s Koi from my Mum’s to my place. Broke my heart to empty a 30yr old pond that I grew up with. But now I can see the Koi everyday at my place. Every cloud, etc I guess.
Cheers re the drum mate, genuinely interested and no rush or pressure from my side. Just whenever. Thanks.

Sorry guys, im still trying to work something out with a relative who may be able to hold some of my bigger fish for me. Part of it would be using the tank to home some of his own smaller fish (grow them on so to speak) and this could be for a good year too which gives me time to get sorted etc.. the tank is unfortunately already reserved if this doesnt happen though to big H

Well thats all the fish gone and most of the gear gone or stored. End of the hobby for a while now depending.
Gray I’m storing the drum over winter into next year to see what direction i’m going to take once we get to the new place. I don’t think i will jump straight on with a build but you can never say never ay so due to uncertainty im a bit reluctant to let it go just yet.
Paul the tank is ready to go if you still want it bud.
