Had this running for 2 years it’s an auto with UV, I’ve used the micro k1 in my new system, I have a bag of normal k1 but it may run better with the micro, also a boyou 8000 pump and pipe work. £400 collect only or buyer pays delivery.
    thanks in advance.
    I live in east London

You were lucky it was only a photo of someone else's kitchen, could have been a lot worse

    Hi Stephen,

Is the EasyPod still for sale? If so I have a couple of questions, if you don’t mind

    1) is this setup to be pump fed or gravity. If gravity do you know what would be needed to convert to pump fed?

    2) given the lockdown situation and also being ‘shielded’ as high risk - courier delivery would be my only option. Can you please pm me your post code so I can find cost of courier. Or alternatively I am happy to give you mine if you want to arrange? Also in case of courier, is there anyway it can be wrapped or boxed. I have no idea how these are delivered, but assume a courier won’t take as is

    3) in the remote chance I can get someone to pick up for me - do you think it would fit in a golf size hatchback

    4) there seem to be so many versions of the easy pod Eazy pod auto for sale just to confirm this is the complete, automatic version with all the bells and whistles, including air pump, UV, lid etc? Is that right?

    5) finally is there any movement in price?

I am going to assume it’s in good working order with no issues or modifications, please let me know if that’s not the case

If purchasing, I would look to pay using PayPal Goods - would that ok with you?

Sorry for all the questions, but thought I’d get them out of the way all in one go

    Many thanks
    Asif

The standard Eazy Pod is 710mm x 580mm and 655mm tall or 585mm tall with the lid off. Not sure if the Automatic versions are any different in size due to the extra fixtures and fittings to make them into an Automatic? If you have a look on the Evolution Aqua website that will give you all the info you should need on them. I've got 2 standard ones but both were couriered to me so not sure if that helps?

Hi all, sorry to jump in but I’m thinking of buying the Eazy Pod UV auto but I can’t get my head around the UV lamp during the auto cleaning cycle ie does the UV stay on or does it turn off during the cleaning cycle. The online manual says not to let the lamp run dry but there is no evidence that it, along with the pump, switch off together. Maybe the UV stays on and sits in a pocket holding water, I have no idea. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

    Good question.

Have you tried YouTube to see if anyone has done a video on it being cleaned?

The auto kit with the built in Uv is superb, the UV is housed in a glass tube right above the inlet pipe. It can’t run dry it’s like in a glass tube. The Ub stays on all the time and can be changed every six months or so.

The cleaning cycle starts and the uv stays on while it’s cleaning the whole process is like 5/6 mins.

Have checked out every Pod I can see. I noted one UV auto but couldn’t see how it was mounted ie does it sit in water during the clean cycle. I asked EA a few Qs but they didn’t answer that bit. Have asked again, hoping to be told it’s all okay but I guess it must be okay Eazy pod auto for sale
