Oase ProfiClear Compact-M EGC - Pump Fed & Bitron 55C Pond UV Clarifier
IMG_2254.jpgIMG_2255.jpgIMG_2256.jpgIMG_2257.jpgIMG_2258.jpg
So I'm looking to sell the following:
ProfiClear Compact-M EGC - Pump Fed
Bitron 55C Pond UV Clarifier
Purchased Sept 2018
Looking for £1100 collected from Fareham.
The unit is still in operation at the moment, it's only a decision that's been made today, so pond still has fish and tadpoles in it.
Will be clearing out other items too, but this is the first to go. My plan is to sell the above and fall back to the Easypod and TMC 55W UV until the fish are moved etc.

Can I just check what size pond this is for?
Unless I'm looking at the wrong model it says 8m3 on the oase website.Natural pond with stream/waterfall

Just looked on their website and this filter can handle a pond volume of 80000 litres or 20000 litres if its used on a koi pond.

Perfect thanks.
Sorry I'm pretty new to drums so a couple of questions...
Does it need to be at water level or can it be above?
What size pump would I need and does the pump go before or after the filter?Natural pond with stream/waterfall

My friend has one of these which i helped to install.
The pump size shouldnt be any bigger than the flow rate which this filter can handle which is 12500 lph but around the 10000 lph would be fine
As this filter is pump fed, the return of the filter needs to be above the water level so it can gravity fed back into your pond.5000 Gallon Fibreglassed Pond With 54" x 27" Infinity Window

Thanks so much Andy.
I guess there is not as much flow restriction on these compared to bead filters so my 20,000lph pump would be overkill?
If I pumped out of my gravity fed (from BD) vortex I shouldnt really need anything else then?Natural pond with stream/waterfall

There is not resistance from a drum.
