I also have sorted my spare pumps and backups for all my pumps on the pond, so for sale, I have the following all working when on the pond and tested today as well as an Elecro 3KW heater

No problem I read this drum needs to be 17 cm below water lvl. Is that correct?

Unless I'm being daft that doesn't sound right, 170mm above water level maybe but I think the lowest you can have it is 110mm above the water level that's to top including the lid. It's actually one of the reasons I bought it as I wanted the drum to fit below my decking.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
