    Bloating on Stomach

    Hi all,
Noticed some bloating in the last month on my Karasugoi, have been feeding mainly Hikari Growth consistently this summer though she's not the biggest feeder and others are looking fine - no change in temperament and water quality good also.

Anyone seen something like this before? Will continue to monitor over the winter when feeding is reduced/stopped but if I need to intervene it's probably better to do it before the temps drop this side of Winter.

    Thoughts appreciated as always

Doesn't look bad. Just a full stomach or it might have eggs to reabsorb over winter?

I was thinking eggbound too, but I am not very knowledgeable on illnesses, more just my first thought

Was the area soft or hard to press?

There isn't much that can be done. The professional advice I received for one I had a similar issue with was to wait until early Spring and depending on what it looks like then have an ultrasound done to determine the cause, if its eggs then action can be taken to encourage spawning, if its a tumour there won't be much you can do.

If its an infection it will probably develop much faster and once you recognise that you could potentially have someone round to determine if and which antibiotics are required.
