    Kindai Showa

Found my Kindai lying on its side this morning all the other fish seem fine, I put in a bowl with 6 ounces of salt to 11 gallons of pond water with plenty of air, but there's no change after over an hour.

    Any suggestions folks ??

Hi Tom. Have you ruled out the water checks and scrapes? That would be my first Port of call.

All done, I treated for Flukes on Friday with Fluke solve plus, after finding a couple of flukes on 2 or three fish and this fish was one of them.

I wonder if the fish is struggling with the treatment or the flukes have got top side? I think salt bath was a good move.

I've used that treatment before without issue's and that fish was 20cm's smaller then, just a coincidence probably, unfortunately it hasn't improved, I've topped bowl up with a gallon or so of fresh filtered water now, without taking blood test and getting it checked, I've no way of knowing what is wrong, unfortunately.

Its a massive shame as its a lovely fish and has grown well,

Yeah, could just be a weaker fish.

Fish is still with us, not sure what'll happen in the end, he/she seems a little stronger, just setting up my grow on tank gone place fish in there in swallow water with salt and plenty of Air and see how that goes, I may even set grown up again, but its a bit late in the year now I suppose, probably struggle to get some decent fish to grow on
