Are Koi seem to be dying
Hi
A few weeks ago one of Koi Carp, was lying at the bottom of the pond for a few days. My husband changed the water, checked the water but it didn’t improve. The fish was lying on its side for a few days (7 or so) before it died. My husband put in some pond bacterial treatment a few days before but to no avail. We also lost one of the goldfish last weekend.
Today we have another koi carp lying on the bottom on its side, and another is at the top of the pond upside down (tummy facing up). Both are still alive but in obvious difficulty.
We don’t know what to do. Have anyone got any suggestions as to what it might be? We don’t want to lose our little fishes 😟

What is the water temperature currently?
Have you tested your water? If so we need to see the results to advise you further.

The water temperature is 5 degrees. The nitrate levels were tested yesterday and are 0.3. Sorry don’t have the test anymore.

Hi, the minimum tests you need to do are pH, ammonia and nitrite. The nitrate does not matter so much. A liquid drop test is neeed for accurate results, don’t rely on test strips as those are wildly inaccurate.
5C is not cold enough to cause the symptoms you are seeing with your fish so I don’t think it’s cold shock.

Hi
Probably need a little more info on pond volume to fish ratio / how long have you had the fish in this pond / what if any filter are you running and what is your cleaning and water changing regime?
Koi are very sensitive to poor water quality - most issues will be the result of poor water and an inadequate pond for the fish to live / thrive in

If you don't already have the tests Feline referred to and have to buy them in, I'd recommend buying a KH test as well as that will be the next thing to test for if the pH comes back low.
Low pH could mean a pH crash has occurred - A KH test will confirm if that is the case.

Second what rs is saying . To me the kh is one of if not the most important test . I have low kh and tap so have to always keep a close on that and dose with bi carb
