    Iím a bit baffled got a kujaku that on Tuesday which had fins clamped to the sides and sitting on the bottom ,Wednesday it was ok swimming about ,Thursday it did it again and another 5 sitting on the bottom very little movement and today all back to normal ,I thought maybe with the change of weather or maybe got spooked ,parameters all fine apart from high ph of 9.0 temp in pond sitting at about 15 havent scrapped yet but I think the tine is near , any ideas folks

    PH of 9 is a bit on the alkaline side I’d say, I worry when mine gets close to 8.5 on occasions in the summer

    Is PH a always constant 9 or has it shot up?

    It’s usually 7.5 but the past month is been a constant 9.0 , done plenty water changes but won’t come down

    My ph spiked but only when it was that week of 28-30oc and we had a crazy blanket weed bloom.

    Treated and dipped back to 7.5 within a day. So you have blanket weed?

    What is it coming out of you dechlorinator or tap?

    Nope no blanket weed and water coming out of the tap at 7.0
