New to The forum and New pond problems
I inherited a pond in my last house and after moving decided to build my own. It's not massive 2.1x1.7x0.8m deep I'd carried a few fish across from my old pond and bought stock from a local dealer. one of the fish the dealer sold me had a white fury spot on it's side, the little I do know is this isn't good so asked to swap it he looked over the other fish he said they looked ok (In hind sight maybe should of asked for my money back), when swapping the fish i noticed all the other fish in that tank had infections. I took a fish from another tank however they shared a filter.
Now my problem is I'm loosing fish daily most of the ones the dealer sold me plus one i've had for years one or two did have a fur on so i used anti-parasite and fungus by NTlabs (took 10 days) however I'm still loosing fish some of the fish are very young is it they are old enough to fight issues right now?
some of the fish have no marks no fur no white spots the one that passed today was simply near the surface with fins tucked in for a few hours then died.
I do have green water which I'm told isn't a massive problem but that has only been an issue since the ntlabs treatment as I had to switch the lights off in the filters.
Is it just the fish are young? the heat wave hasn't helped? honestly I'm lost
any help or suggestions would be massively appreciated or even local enthusiasts who's brain I could pick.
Hopefully get to post some pictures of a nice healthy pond in the future
Thanks for reading

Helpful to know how your water tests are, it could be a water problem as some have no signs . when you say white furry was it like cotton wool?

should of said I did do water tests as i thought maybe something was wrong there but they all checked out fine.
The white stuff was only on three or four fish (a buttryfly 2 koi and a ghost) the butteryfly it was definitely like cotton wool.
the one that died today had no signs of anything on it

Ok so cotton wool disease is a nasty fungas, Saprolegnia and needs to be treated with a good anti fungas and or salt baths, It can be fatal it can also indicate a underlying issue.
Did you scrape the dead fish and check for parasites?

sorry just thought the large fish I've had some years was female and had been chased round the pond for about 4 weeks by the other 4 larger fish could this be unrelated to the other deaths and was something like stress or exhaustion?

It's ok, how are they generally behaving? So do they swim round front fins out, do they flash ( rub there sides on the bottom or side of pond) do they jump, do they hide away with fins clamped tight to thier body, are they eating

the ones in now are swimming round fins out gliding if you like (butterfly seems to have them tucked in) orphs flying about all over the place. Green water is making it hard to see but that has been clearing these last few days
the one that died today did have it's fins clamped all day as I kept going out to look it had also separated itself off from the pack so to speak which I'm lead to believe is the sign of a poorly fish.
could this just be that it's a new pond waiting on bacteria to balance? with the complication of being sold some infected fish.

It could have a connection being a new pond, you need to do a water test and post results please, are you using liquid tests or strip tests? Strip tests are not very accurate at best

You really need to test nitrite, looking at your results although ammonia is low it is still present. Your nitrate is also very low, lower than you would expect and giving it's a new pond I think your filter has not yet matured and your good bacteria is not converting your nitrite to nitrate properly yet which could account for your fish dieing. If you can't test today I think you should assume nitrite is high and do a large water change around 50% , if it turns out not nitrite it's only cost you a couple of £ for water but if it is nitrite you could save the rest of your fish.

So next question the dealer I got the fish off told me my pump/filters would deal with the pond I’m running two filters a pfc-3000 and a pf-2500 at opposite ends. He said this would be ok as they do about half my pond each could this be wrong information? It’s around 700-750gallon my pond by my calculations
Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
