Help with treatment after PP didn’t kill Chilodonella
Hello
A few weeks ago I had costia and Chilodonella so I decided to use pp about 2 weeks ago.
The costia is eliminated but the Chilodonella is still on scrapes.
My question is, is it safe for me to use FMG 2 weeks after pp with water changes in between
Thanks

Did you only PP once? In my experience you need to do it at least twice at 5 to 7 day intervals.

Same mate 2.5 give or take. Aimed for 15 min couple fish no problem but couple fish didn't last any where near that second they started to roll they were out and back in the pond and back to swimming normal.. Feel I load happier knowing
I haven't treated the pond/filter so no knock back
Scraped and found the issue my self no more stress for the fish going for a road trip to local dealer
And its resolved
I Know am lucky tho the amount of people having a mare with all these terminator of parasites ill be back after every treatment

Thats good news for you then, and its good treating them out the pond like you say. My fish seem a bit happier after the salt dip apart from my goshiki which is still flashing a bit and it looks like its got a bit of dry skin across its back. I think it's sensitive to sunlight tbh. It's otherwise acting normal but I am going to PP Sunday as I want to make sure anything I might have missed is dealt with. I did one little scrape on my Asagi's back which was the one riddled with flukes before and didn't find any but that's not to say its completely clean as it was only a quick scrape before putting it back in the pond as it wasn't enjoying the salt bath.
Strangely enough the 2 Byer Kohaku Tosai I got recently went on their sides almost instantly but every other fish was fine in the salt bath. The asagi lasted 5 mins but was swaying a little so I took no chances.

Seems to be a lot of this going on this year myself included.
Dont understand the 2.5 % me being thick
I dipped some of mine in 3 oz per gal salt for 10 mins and think it helped as some were lethargic but they dont like it.
scraped them and found nothing put some extra s/ thio in and eased the flashing, think the water board is putting in extra chlorine because of this covid, could be wrong.John
