Unhappy Well today was a crap day.

I Lost one of my koi. Only a year old.... been in the pond a week 😩😩😩 Devastated. He was a happy fella when i put him and his brother in there, and today he died in my hands. Gutted. Not sure what the cause was, but he couldn’t keep himself afloat ended up upside down 98% of his last few hours. Really sad. I have since put a treatment in to try and cure other fish before it’s late. I really don’t know what to do 😩

Clear bacterial issue on the fin.
Moving a fish is stressful, maybe it had issues anyway?

Put more info up, other fish in pond?
    Water readings? Symptoms? Etc.

Fin wasn’t like that when I bought him, also have 15 goldfish / Shubunkins 6 goldfish are big and the rest are all small, a few of the goldfish were given to us as a present ( ones her family didn’t want ) and they’ve have scales missing and white scales instead of orange? Iv got a parasites and fungal treatment. It’s a 5 day course so unsure.

I've never seen a bacterial infection spread to a new fish and kill it within a week.

    What are your water parameters?

Specifically Temperature, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, PH and maybe KH as well?
