White spot on new koi fins
Good morning.
I purchased a koi from a reputable dealer online, and although it looks a lovely fish it has white spots on his fins, does anyone know what this could be. It’s only been in my pond a day

Could be carp pox with stress of moving ect . Should clear when the temp warms up . . Is it waxy to touch ? But not pick at it tho and it's very easy spread

agree with ajm ive got three with it due too being moved from temp pond too the new one. how did you introduce it too the new pond.
any new fish introduced too my pond the bag is opened and anchored too the side of the pond given half hour too settle down then a couple of cups of pond water added to the bag and again every quarter of an hour for an hour. carp pox is usually brought on by sudden changes of temp and water quality.

My ponds heated so I guess it could of been that, being said he was in the bag a good 30 minutes before releasing in. Is it treatable like a fluke parasite

Perhaps with the single pump at high flow the bubbles still get sucked in but are greatly...
