Little black specks

My Gin Rin Ochiba has some little black specks on her. They are not all in one area, just dotted about. She is the only one with this. Should I be worried?

I suspect that you are referring to what are known as "shimmies". It happens, annoying for us but not for the fish.

A couple of my fish have developed them this year, although I was able to gently scrape them off of one of the fish but on the other they were more deep within the scale and I didn't want to risk damage to the fish.

its just one of them things that happen to koi. unless your intending to show them i don't see a problem i have one with shimmies but would not change it .

Thank you so much. She is a beautiful girl and spots or not I really do love her. No intentions of ever showing any of them. Just want to make sure they are having a good life ❤️
