Alparax v Whiespot
First time I have found white spot in 15 years of keeping koi. I re stocked with 5 fish 3 week ago.
I had some alpharax which says it’s effective for the treatment of white spot so I have just put the second dose in today. My pond temp is 12 deg.
Anyone any experience of treating white spot with alpharax and if it will stay in the pond long enough to kill the hatching young
Many thanks in advance
Ian

I used 3 doses of FMG as per Duncan gritiths book successfully in spring if that helps.

After a failed attempt to get rid of white spot, I used Colombo FMC50 after Ricky Stoddart recommended it on a Q&A video. Worked well.
2660 Gallons. 4" Bottom Drain and Skimmer. Draco Solum 16 Drum. Anoxic Filtration. Air lift returns.
Changing filters
put the new media from the nexus in the pond or filter for a few weeks/months in warmer pond temps...
