E/a one says a two dose of Acriflavin but N/t say only one dose needed.
Anyone used Acriflavin?

I have used it as a dip with salt but not in the pond. I believe its quite a mild treatment and have been told by a dealer they would use it easily 2-3x the dose with no issues at all but I don't know personally if this is safe.

I used the Kusuri 1%, every 3 days, think I did 3 times. Best follow the instructions for the one you have and % strength may vary..https://www.kusuri.co.uk/kusuri-products/acriflavine/

Never used either in my pond, only ever used acriflavine in a hospital tank combined with salt and at 25 degrees and found the combination excellent, on its own I really don't know maybe it was the salt or the temperature that done the trick. Maybe consider the following:
If the fish have red areas and the skin is not broken and you only want to help them recover from the previous parasite outbreak use acriflavine, if however the skin is breached and the sores are getting worse and ulcers forming then chloramine T and topical treatments, if you suspect a serious bacterial problem you will need to investigate and find the source, either way the temps are dropping and it will need nipping in the bud before winter kicks in, good luck John and I'm only down the road if you need a hand

I generally use it in combo with MG. You need to allow for it being quite acidic- it’s vital the pond has a high enough KH to prevent it using up all your buffers. KH 6 would be the minimum I would use it at myself. What are you planning to use it for?

I think salt (preferably with heat) would probably be a better option, as acriflavine will hit your filters back a bit at a time of year where they will be slow to recover. Do you have a QT you could put them in for some salt with Chloriamine T/acriflavine healing time?
You have my sympathies dealing with some damage / bacteria, issues at this time of year as time is ticking to the colder weather now2016 new 6000 gallon pond

I must admit, last year when I had a few with bumps and redness I found a bath in salt & acriflavine every couple of days seemed to fix them up. I would just stick pond water in my measuring bowl, add the amount of salt (Think it was 500g in about 30l of water but might be wrong, I would check the salt chart from Manke to be sure.) and then a splash of acriflavine and leave them in there for half an hour before adding to the pond again.

Hopefully I should get it today, may do as say Sam but I want to do the whole pond and maybe do dips as well for the couple of infected ones.

Virkon may help in the pond itself with the salt and acriflavine dips used as it reduces bad bacteria. When I had a bit of redness earlier this year after deep cleaning the filter I found that I was able to clear it all up quickly with virkon. Basically, I pulled out all my shower media after adding a drum and this released tons of crap built up from running the pond with no pre filter as such and so the pond went dark brown and full of it causing the fish to get a bit red. Took days for the drum to clear the water and 4/5 fish had redness and some raised scales in some cases but using the virkon cleaned it all up in a week.

Water checks done today and ammonia and nitrite at 0.15.
Would that cause the redness of the fins and sores?
Or could it be still bacterial?John

Acriflavin came today so 3 koi went in a0.6% salt bath with a dash of Acri,
As they were in there I mixed the dose for the pond and when 1/2 hr was up in they went along with the pond dosage.
No problems at all,but went out this evening to check and they were over the top, looking ravishing for food which was great.
Have I got my koi back?
This evening looks like it but early days.
Been through a lot and with the seasons I really hope we have it.John
