    Any ideas?

    Screenshot 2021-11-20 at 11.50.27.jpg

Doings some scraps as my Karashigoi has a little red in one of the pecs and the underside looks a bit sore and so far I think I found Costia, tiny black dots zipping about, a couple of dead flukes and one possible live one in mucus that disappeared as I tried to focus on it and this big ol bugger at 5x. any ideas what this is? Thinking I need to go in with FMG for the Costia.

is it large enought to see with the naked eye?
or a better pic if you can separate it from the mucus cells
    Argulus?

or some larval stage of a pond critter?
    water mite?

I could see a tiny whitey/yellow dot in the mucus sample. Never seen that before though! I also found some Trich and a couple of live flukes so I guess its PP instead of FMG followed by another Fluke treatment I have recently done 2x Lernex pro overdoses within 6 days of each other as well, around a month ago!

It’s a water mite, I had them and got rid of them but apparently I didn’t need too as they are harmless

Lernex Pro has gone in now, lets hope that does the job on the flukes. Will follow up with fluke solve in a week after another water change. Fish seemed happier after the PP, moving around the pond more fluently. Fingers crossed its done the job, after the treatment is over they will get a water change and then treated to a bottle of aqua source vitalise to boost them.

I haven't got it yet although did use it earlier in the year but at a slight under dose. I may go for the normal Fluke solve this time as it works down to 3 degrees although keeping the pond around 11 at the moment.

The new fluke solve plus certainly helped my fish with 2 treatments..... watch your filters Sam quite a lot of chemicals gone in mate, nothing you can do i know but will probably knock your filters a bit with Lernex pro, PP treatments and flukesolve to come....

Will do Steve, won't be feeding anything for a while anyway now and will keep an eye on readings, I didn't feed leading up to the treatment either and done a water change before the start of it.
