Still struggling with getting my readings down. Marginal improvements.

Decided to check the mains water that I'm refilling it up with.

    Results below.

My mains water appears to have the same level of amonia as my pond , making water changes a bit pointless.

Yes they do. How long have you had it. It's best to get a new test kit every year as they start to degrade once opened. That's been my experience with API kits.

I actually bought a new kit yesterday afternoon and found that my Amonia levels were fine !!

Nitrite and Nitrate still a bit high but at least the filter is kicking in .

The fish are talking to me now after giving them some food for the first time in a week.

    Hi.

Sorry missed your post. North London. I've used Tamodine on it but seems to improve then worsen.

In itself it is feeding , with the other fish , occasionally flashes but only when the air is switched off on the bottom drain which is possibly where it hurt itself or one suggestion was had a heron tried to get it.
I lost one goldfish earlier this year to a heron (assumed) before additional security was put up .

A follow up to the above, searching the Internet I found The London Aquatic Veterinary Services.
This is run by Dr Bryony Chetwynd-Glover and specialisizes in Fish.

Bryony was excellent , visited , tested the water, scraped four fish , found a problem with skin flukes on two of them including the Goromo which we guess had been flashing against the bottom drain and damaged himself.

Wound all cleaned up under sedation and returned to the pond and clearing up nicely. Treating the pond for skin flukes .

I would highly recommend Bryony to anyone in need of a fish vet inthe London or surrounding areas, especially if you do not have facilities for scraping and diagnosing problems yourself. She explained everything she was doing , left clear instructions and has followed up afterwards.

They also offer check ups on ponds and fish before and after winter.
