Treating Chilodonella in cold water temps

    Hi all,

After noticing one of my Koi acting strange I took a few scrapes and found Chilodonella. I was planning on treating with FMG but it occurs to me that I've never done a treatment in winter before. Water temps are averaging 8-10 Celsius right now, is it safe to treat?

    Thanks.

Edit - If not, is there a dosage of salt that might help?

FMG would be the best treatment for chilo. You really need at least 13C to use anything containing formalin though. Salt would do very little.
Are you experiencing flashing and/or fish losses currently?

I feel like it's going to be a while before we're looking at 13c.

...and yes, fairly regular flashing. No fish loss yet thankfully.
