Oh no! Sorry to hear that. But much better than last time, right?
Do we have to make sure they’re all totally gone? I have read some people saying that some flukes is normal... but I suppose in a similar vein to antibiotic resistant bacteria, you really don’t want to keep the last man standing. Especially as they now have no competition from the weaker ones that died.
Was it alive?
I have heard lots of people mentioning Lernex so after my second dose of flukasol, if it doesn’t work, I might try that.

Yes it was very much alive.
I really don't want to hit the pond with more chemicals.
Think I'll scrape a couple more tomorrow.

Oh no sorry to hear that. I’ve lost 6 koi this year after having a great 16 months seeing em grow up. Some were 12 - 14 inch .kujacku & Sanke . It’s been a very frustrating & devastating few months. We bought a new koi from a garden centre & that’s when the problems started. We had to rehome the sturgeon & orfe so we could treat our pond. We’ve had to treat for Costia & flukes but I truly think it maybe something else to blame. Why is it never 2 fish fall ill together ? Have you experienced a similar thing?

Same here, it's been frustrating and very upsetting Think I've lost 14 this year, never experienced anything like it and I've been keeping koi since the eighties. At the the start of the period, there were a number of fish visibly ill at any one time but towards the end it was more one at a time.

It has been a rough year mate. Lost all of my good fish. All that I had left was one nice Ogon, an old ghostie that I've had 35 years, an old mongrel that I housed from Dad's pond, after he died and a strange looking rugby ball shaped brown fish.
Recently added two nice little tosai from Aurora.
Once everything is settled, my good wife has said that she will treat me to a nice Kohaku. So that's something to look forward to.

Don’t be afraid to retreat for flukes, these treatments don’t knock your filters back so I would always tend to go with doing an extra treatment if you’ve found any surviving flukes more than a week later.
There’s chemicals and then there is chemicals. don’t forget they are swimming around in H2O and that is a chemical too.2016 new 6000 gallon pond

Thanks for asking laulau. Been watching them a fair bit today and I reckon mostly they are ok. The old platinum ogon is still isolating but does come up for food now and then. The others are looking good. The two newbies from Gaz are feeding very well and have settled in.
