White spots - Fungus??
Hi,
Can anyone help with these white Mark's?
I have taken him to local koi shop and they said fungus and sold us some blagdon fungus treatment. We have been back to speak to them and they said to use more so we did but he hasn't improved and I wouldn't say it has got much worse either. It started just as they were waking from winter.
I've attached pics. Thanks in advance.

What is like to touch is it hard, as it looks like a bit of pox? Picture is not great, if it is fungus I’d dab it with a cotton bud dipped in Malachite.

Hi, thanks would it hurt to use some malachite anyway? Would it wash off in the water?

Click on the photo and you can enlarge it.................i did and it looks like carp pox, does it look wax'y, a bit like somebody
has dripped candle wax on it and left it to dry. To me it definitely isn't fungus, that looks fluffy and grows on an injury.
But nothing to worry about ……………...Right I'm off to buy shares in Blagdon fungus treatment

When you apply the malachite. Put the fish on a soaked wet towel. Easier to sedate.
Apply. Then leave it for 4 or 5 minutes
Then revive fish in a net in the pond
Once recovered let it go.
That malachite green is hard to get off your hands lol
