Koi drug cabinet
I was thinking is there like a koi care package to keep at home always like bacterial spray etc like a collection of medication/treatment you should have at home like we have paracetamol or whatever?Just thinking what I may need for the season.

Hi mate,
there is not a full package available ‘off the shelf’, however i have put together a number of ‘medicine cabinets’ for my customers previously.
Not the cheapest thing to stock up on, however a great sense of achievement when it’s needed to be binned - as not a lot has gone wrong!!
I would recommend:
PP
HP
Formalin
MG
Fluke Treatment
CT
Acriflavin
Anti Bac
Wound cleaner
Salt
Koi sedate
Baytril
Needles
Friars Balsam
Tweezers
Cotton pads
Filter starts (after treatment)
Aquasource Vitalize
I think that’s my cupboard exhausted

Ha
think my cupboards are bare.
i don’t think I have half of that, haven’t really had a problem for years.
thought I did put a koi to sleep a couple of months ago that was egg bound, it’s always your fav that has the issue.
so always good to have something in the cupboard for that day!

Hi mate,
thats not a bad kit. it’s more injury focussed than parasite which often lead to the injury - prevention better than cure on injury as they often leave lasting evidence
The list I have is extensive, however will ensure the vast majority of meds’ etc... are to immediate hand - things always go wrong when nowhere is open in my experience.

Thanks for the feedback Fred - much appreciated. My stepson and I own the Company and we split the jobs between us so the positive comments are all to him (which I have screen shot and passed on).
He also runs our FB page, so if you ever go on there it’s him and not me . I try and stay away from the Tech side as much as possible.
If you PM me the parts you require, I will take a look for you pal - not everything we source is on our website as it’s too bigger job, plus I want my input on here to be assistance and experienced based (where possible) rather than a direct sale pitch (however orders always welcome of course).
Mike came round the other day so was great to meet someone new and chat Koi for an hour or so over a coffee - although COVID-19 has put a pause on that for a while. By the end of the weekend my rebuild will be complete so pics will follow!!!
Cheers

Great you met mike. Spot on. And your stepson has done well there mate.
Grand job.
I don t need the fittings and pipe work right away.
I have done some already. Just sounding it out mate.
For when I do. Had a look at a few sites today like on ebay. And most ain't doing buisness selling. I suppose because of this
Lockdown and virus.
So it's nice to know you can help out for when I need them
Thanks for replying
