Thread: Video of my Koi Summer 2024

Seems to have become tradition to post an annual video of my Koi. I like looking back to see how they've grown, developed or deteriorated!


Here's this year's video.
The Ochiba is still poorly and isolating from the group, and will only eat if hand-fed, hence the special treatment!

I'm well overdue updating the Fry development thread but you can see the Tancho Showa that I kept in this video, she's over 50cm but haven't measured her for ages so don't know exact size but would estimate 53cm.

Sadly the Kirin is gone, having passed away last year due to internal complications with blocked spawning ducts. Still gutted, she was my favourite by a long shot. Chag has now overtaken her in size and I'd estimate she's now 73 or 74cm.
