Lovely looking fish...Maybe a bit too nice for a newbie and a new pond to stock?
I was planning on having a run over there myself sometime over the weekend just for a browse, Kirkham is only about 40mins away.
Maybe just maybe you never know......I must resist.

Haha. I'm gonna bet that once Tracey gets to hand feeding the koi and they all come up to greet her, she'll realise the bizarre spells these creatures weave over us! I swore I'd never understand the draw of koi or how you can feel the same about a fish as you can a cat or dog, or other pet you can actually cuddle, stroke, ride or walk ... but just look at me now! Gin Matsuba

This summer I was literally up every hour through the night to check on my lot during heat ramping - that's love for you! Even now, I check on them out the window with a torch every time I'm up through the night Gin Matsuba

I've got one 'perfect' fish out of 9, my Purachina. All the rest are either mutts or damaged in some way, but their different personalities means each one has a place in my heart. Hubs now accepts that the fish are well and truly part of our family as much as our cats.

I look forward to the day I see you post here that Tracey finally 'gets it'. It may come sooner than you think Gin Matsuba Fingers crossed!
