Hi all
thinking about adding some heat to the pond anyone recommend a good heater for a 4500 gal

Love your indoor pond, presume you are on about heating the indoor one well I would use a boiler with heating to heat the room that way you wont get any problems with condensation etc.
Cost a bit but whether you can get gas to the koi house.
You sorted out how to do videos?we want one of the inside.John

Hi John
yep I was thinking that would be the best bet but I might have to convert the boiler to run from gas bottles I will see how the winter goes and possibly see about heating next year sorry not done any videos yet as I would like to get it all finished before hand
cheers

You can convert natural gas boiler to LPG and you can just buy an LPG boiler.
I looked into it before and the running costs are huge in comparison to natural gas.

I did wonder if it would cost more just that gas board wants 3k to connect me to my gas and it would mean me digging up block paving so I might have to go with the inline heater

Looks like a lovely pond room Robo, nice one.
Not sure if it would work, but since you're needing to heat the room and the water will gradually absorb that heat, could you not heat the room using an air source heat pump for heating? Well, basically for an isolated room without the need for domestic hot water, you can run air conditioning as they heat as well as cool and are efficient.
As I say, not looked into using it on a room with a pond in it, but we have air conditioning in our house and our heating is broke at the moment and I'm using the air con to keep us all warm currently.

air source heat pumps are efficient, in many places, they are being sold as an energy efficient boiler replacement, I think in your case though, you would be better off simply using an air conditioning solution as you don't need the hot water or the very high temperature rates that radiators need.
How big is the room and is it well insulated?
Every day feeding container?
Good shout, I'll have a look at Takazumi :)
