Beautiful new Kin Matsuba from Aurora Koi

    Hi
I've just taken delivery of a new fish this morning from Aurora Koi.
I asked them to find me a Kin Matsuba and they certainly delivered!
It's a 35cm Kin Matsuba and Hirasawa is the breeder. Came at a great price too.
Great service from Gaz at Aurora Koi and the fish came well packaged.

Love the fish! I want one like that!

What's the difference between a kin Matsuba and an Aka Matsuba or are they the same thing?

    Hi
I'm no expert but I think the Kin Matsuba has a yellow base colour whilst the Aka Matsuba has a red base colour.
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
    Regards
    Peter

Hi Gaz. If you could, i'd appreciate that. Beautiful new Kin Matsuba from Aurora Koi

Although I'm really after an Aka rather than Kin (although the photo to me looks like it's orange rather then yellow anyway).

But If you could find one like that with nice dark reticulation (if that's the right term). Also if you come across any Kujakus too. Again with darker reticulation as I've seen the reticulation fade as they get bigger.

If you could provide some photos and info about any that you can source that'd be great.

    Cheers.
