Thread: eazypod complete

Hi guys just purchased an eazypod complete, my first hurdle i've come across is the air pump and uv have a round 2pin,1 hole plug attached, did any of you eazypod owners cut those off and wired them to a standard uk 3 pin socket or can i buy a double socket that fits these (looks like european plugs) ? if so where from please?

Yes i did and the dealer assured me it is fine and wont invalidate the warranty as they realise it needs to be done

or if you did not want to cut the plug buy 2 shaver plugs from Argos and plug them in there?

I can confirm as Colin said. I rang E A and they said fine to cut off the plug.

Thanks, i'd thought of using the shaver adaptors but not sure how the earth worked. so i'll cut the plugs off then, added benefit of smaller holes to be drilled for wire to pass through the summerhouse wall.

if memory serves me right its only a two core cable.
