Hi - welcome to the forum.
Blanketweed is a true challenge - I find that regular doses of aqua source resolve has worked for me.
This autumn it was particularly stubborn so redosed after 10 days and it has cleared the lot.

Is your pond painted, Liner or Fibre glassed, how much direct sunlight does it get, my old natural pond with liner I used to cut/pull out the worst and then go over with gently with a wire brush to remove as much as possible before treating, it did stir up a lot of much at the time and not having a bottom drain then made it a tad murky for longer.

Prevention is better than cure - blanket weed need food and light to grow.
Reducing the direct sun will help, however ambient light will still provide enough light to process the food.
Given the food is basically from the nitrogen cycle, it sounds like your bio has not woken up yet. So what are the water stats?
You can use a veggie filter to compete for the food or an anoxic filter. They will help as they seem to grow a little before the bio starts multiplying.
It's almost like we need those floating black balls they use for reservoirs.Eco Pond: 13,000 litres, 20K+ lph Airlifts, 1300l anoxic, Solum 16. No pump. 58W total.

Talking of which, weirdly on my old pond I couldnt grow algae never mind blanketweed
. Now im suddenly overwhelmed after completing extension. Water perams are perfect, except no doubt for Nitrate. So ive dosed with AS resolve which has had no effect, has anyone ever re-dosed after a few days rather than waiting 10 days? Not sure how long its supposed to take to work?

Nope as im not there, ive requested the test lol. Im just presuming they are both high, just that the first treatment doesnt seem to have touched it. I wont mention my high nutrient free top up water
as again ill be honest ive not tested (nor do I know where its coming from) but I suspect its high in something that's boosting the Algae growth, on the plus side the fish arent dead yet
