Just don't over do it Dave. Viral illness can give long term problems. I know from experience, back in 95 I had shingles, which I really didn't have the time for, tried to work through it but got more and more unwell and have never recovered, diagnosed with M.E. in 96. Similar to what they are calling Long Covid.
'kin hell, I've had it 26 years, no wonder I'm such a miserable sod7500 litres

Bloody hell a right bunch of old crocks lol. Talking of the shingles I had them around a Similair time, ohmygod if there’s a hell shingles is it, I recovered (I think) but with multiple other serious medical complications and chronic illness, my monthly prescription list is out of this world. Strangely I’ve never had a sick day in my life mind, I’m hoping I just drop dead one day without any further fuss!

i know where your coming from guys for the last two years its being one thing after another. started with a cough new doc said i had hooping cough finally two month later turns out one of my heart tablets was the cause of the cough. change of tablets then caused me to almost pass out when standing up. five changes of tablets in ten weeks got that sorted then had a TIA then shingles then covid.all of which took place after retirement.
its only being stubburn and cheerful thats keeps me going.
strikes me we could not make a gud un out of the four of us.

A great deal of sympathy . ive been symptom free for a week finally got my taste buds back .
plenty of fresh air sat by the pond and look after little legs.
can't suggest anything apart from tough it out.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
