I just find it too difficult to narrow down to one song.
One that I can listen to, whatever frame of mind that I'm in, is "Some Fantastic Place" by Squeeze. The chord progressions are just perfect, as is the guitar solo from Glen Tilbrook.7500 litres

Yeah I agree, far too hard to narrow it down, I enjoy so many different genres of music and like Johnathan said, different situations call for different music! My taste is extremely varied from things before my time to new music so I can't even really put a specific artist(s) to start!

Topical at the moment, but Bat out of Hell the Album, each track runs to the next one, great to when driving alone, volume high, The Verve rates highly, Tom Petty, most tracks but Running Down A Dream, tops my chart. Up and coming, Sam Fender from the North East.

I was fortunate to see ACDC at Wembley about 10 years ago or more now when I was around 20, can't remember exact dates but I can remember it was incredible.

Foo fighters for me, or linkin park, one more light by linkin Park, and foo fighters have too many to choose, possibly pretender, or run, or Sunday rain lol carnt decide, going to see the foos again in June this year, I carnt wait to see them again, second time for them, managed to see linkin park 3 times before Chester took his life, such a waste of pure talent
