they're going to need to build a load of power stations when 40 million plus electric cars go on charge every night...

And most older houses will need their main fuses upgraded to be able to use the charger. A few places I've worked on still only have a 40 Amp or 60 Amp cut out fuse. Bigger houses may need the main incoming cables upgraded and I reckon there'll be a shit load of power cuts when everyone gets home and plug their chargers in then stick their kettles on etc. Something's gonna go wrong sooner rather than later specially in highly populated areas. And there trying to do away with gas boilers in houses now so that's not going to help on cold dark winter nights

I can't believe that hydrogen isn't pursued with more vigour than at present, Hydrogen fuel cells powering EVs is an obvious answer to the limitations of battery vehicles, yes it still requires infrastructure putting in place but fuelling up is akin to fuelling a fossil fuel vehicle... problem solved surely.

Not so bad if your license is currently clean pal. Just take the points and then be careful and try not to get any more. You don't want them stacking up.

They would still impose a hose pipe ban in the 3 days of summer
