Non slip decking paint
so the wife has decided after 3 garden redos this year alone that she wants a decking path (garden gets very boggy even with soak aways and perforated drainage) but as am a tight bugger and belive the only money that should be spent is on my fish . We are going down the root of using pallets but am a bit worried about little legs stacking it when wet . What's the best non slip paint around at the moment??

Not sure such a paint exists? Therefore chicken wire!

gravel a no go?
if not a thick floor cement/paint and add sand to it, that how vessels get a non slip exterior floor covering, hurts like hell if you fall on it though mid run, as it gives the mother of all grazesthe slow pond build thread

Got rid of gravle . Had gravel then artificial grass and all that did was get bogged in rain and filled the pond with static on hot days . Flags no good for little one and the rabbits . So gone back to grass . Did think of adding a load of sharp sand in . Or just paint it normally then get these grip strips do the job just don't look nice

There are a few anti-slip decking paints but they are not great, they soon wear off timber due to granules wearing off allowing moisture ingress... The best bet is to use a good decking stain and keep up with the removal of moss and the like it should then stay okay...
Although if you 'really' want one I have used this on a few small projects https://www.brewers.co.uk/product/HJ2450J

only thing I have ever seen make wood non slip, is chicken wire.
we have a very heavy clay garden so have a sloped patio and gravel path, still useable when water logged like today. means kids are out 365the slow pond build thread
