Green Tench?
Trying to identify these in our inherited pond.. they've been in the pond a good 7 years. However we've never known how many there have actually been.. until today (ignore the timestamp) when I shoved my go-pro on the end of a stick not to spook them completely..
I've always thought of them as goldfish-carp hybrids but they don't look goldfish-esque. More Tench like but I couldn't identify them.
Now I think they may actually be Green Tench. We have 7 and may look at rehoming them with the pond move.

Yes unmistakably a green tench aka Doctor Fish. I used to love catching these as a kid in the lake. Don’t see many in ponds these days - shame as they can grow well and disturb a lot of muck on the bottom which then gets into the drain and pumps. It was thought they helped heal koi (not sure if there is proof) due to the amount of mucus they have which was believed to pass to koi when stressed.
Cheers

I have a couple. And your right there nicknamed doctor fish. Beautiful fish.
Mine is now 27 years old.
The only problem I have found is when treating the pond.
Lovely scaling on them. And very hard to catch in a net. There bloody fast
