Would it be cheaper to buy a used tank off eBay?
For example, this 2.5 foot tank went for £37
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125-Litre...p2047675.l2557
Years ago I made some tanks for free by using glass counters from deli type shops that were having refurbs or closing down.

113751525538 there is this one the size I'll be going but they are twice what the glass is and dont know if that 80 quid extra for them to make it is worth it or if I want the fun and being able to sit back and say I did that . ( when it's all over the floor) haha

Another cheap option might be to buy 2x 2 foot tanks 2nd hand off eBay, then join them together to make 2x2.
A lot of twos in that sentence lol.
2 of these for example:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ELITE-55-...gAAOSw1Rpdva-s
Actually, scrap that idea, I've got ahead of myself, you'll be one 2 foot sheet of glass short to finish it as you won't wan't joins anywhere other than the corners.

nd aquatics are very keenly priced and besides having a standard range will build to what ever size you need.
if buying the glass, get it drilled by them and then take the stress of putting 3 holes in awaythe slow pond build thread
