    Scuba diving

My other fish related hobby is scuba diving, and I thought you may like to see my video of our BSAC branch club dive of a local river in Kent where we did some rubbish clearing.
    Hope you like it?

BIG pat on the back to you and your diving buddies...…………. and thanks from the fish and other wildlife below our waters.
What's wrong with people ……….lazy idiots who have an aversion to bins, to much like hard work to take it home obviously .

    Great video mate.

Amazing how much life is down there, that really surprised me.

Love seeing fish in their natural waters.

    Scuba diving

    Hi guys.
Just to say sorry I have not been back on here for a while, I have just been busy with work and other hobbies.
But thanks for all your nice comments about the river dive, I too am amazed how much there is in the water, both good and bad.
I have recently done a dive a t a new dive site, StAndrews in Halling Kent. Chalk and cheese difference to a good river, this old chalk works was devoid of fish and plants, we saw a few tiny sticklebacks but nothing else. The lake management have tried over the years to get plants to establish but they always die. If we touch the bottom we stir up a white milky paste, I think its just too alkaline for the plants to establish and therefor the fish wont thrive. But from a scuba point, it was really clear water which makes a change.
And a dive on Tue evening was out of Dover on the dive boat Neptune diving the 1871 Strathclyde cargo steamer that sunk in 1876 one mile out of Dover. Nice to see different fish.

I have to get another gopro type sports camera now though. As I stepped off the boat on Tuesday my camera tangled in a line and it broke it off at the mount. I did not realise until properly in the water and went to switch it on and it was not there.
