Cheap Mussels
Like a few others on here I normally get frozen mussels from Asda - 3x 400g bags for £10 when they're on a deal.
Well, the wife ventured into farmfoods, spotted these and picked them up for me, also 3 for a tenner, but at 800g per bag.
2.4 KG in total - Bargain!
Even has the Koi feeding instructions on the front of the bag!

Interesting, having never feed Mussels to my Koi do you chop them up or will the fish take them whole?

Feed them whole, no one in the wild chops them up, ideal for getting them to hand feed.

I chop them up because it means I can hand feed for longer .
Also gives small fish a chance to eat more otherwise they spend the entire feeding session chewing on one while the big fish take one after the other.
