That 3mm is tiny isn't it... can't figure how they get that measurement.

Anyhow, 8a.m air temp 8c .. pond at 10.4c .. sunny today so hopefully gain a little more.

I've considered it AJ, but currently just water with the filter waste, does them a treat. Something I might have a play with though in the future as it would help remove nitrates etc so could be a good thing.

Covers off yesterday, fish got frisky, the yamabuki male that is always leader of the frisky bunch got a little carried away and chased a little to fast, managed to swim out of the pond, almost being eaten by the dog. I thought it was a great idea to tweak stuff and turned the shower pump up and the trickle down, woke up this foggy morning to a steaming pond with 2 almost dry pumps struggling and hardly any flow over the shower due to starved pumps The Daily pond temp thread if it ain't broke dont fix it

    Pond at 9.5 this morning.

I've been feeding very small amounts of wheatgerm and also Aqua Source with Propalis, they seem to love it. The Aqua Source can be fed at 8 degrees and above.

quick pic from the ContrAll app which I use to run my Sicce SDC pump (which runs my skimmer line). Yes, the pump has a temp sensor inside. Interesting to see recent trends and fluctuations.... the far left is a little 'all over the place' as I wasn't running the pump constantly but the last 20 or so days it's been running constantly.

Got to 14.5 late afternoon. I only give them 1 pellet each as I wasn't sure how much I was allowed at that temp at 15 I'll give them 2 each

Pond temp hung pretty much steady throughout yesterday, Air was 2c at 6.am, had to scrape ice off car to go out at 7:30 ... 8:15a.m air temp up to 6c .. pond temp down to 10.3c

Anyhow, its sunny today and hopefully will get back the loss, night time temp not supposed to go below 5c so fingers crossed.

Mine dropped to 9.4 so again losing 0.5 a night, very cold this morning, with todays forecast of 10 degrees high and MINUS 1 over night I do not see much change other than usual ups and downs around the higher 9's - Currently at 9.6 on Seneye
