    Heater

    Okay guys here’s one for you. Have a 4000 gallon pond I wanted to put in an in-line 2 kW heater. I can only go as high as 2 kW what are your recommendations? And what do I need to keep clear of? Thanks in advance

    Hi/ You would need a heat pump for 4000 gallons. 2kw is what they use on indoor growing ponds.

    Will cost you a fortune to run an inline2kw heater and as maddog says your pond needs an energy efficient heat pump..... there are a few out there just an expensive out lay to begin with... but the flexibility it offers is spot on, your fish will thank you for it..

    2x20k pumps, BD,Skimmer,
    Shower, ASHP
