    Help! My pond is draining

I installed an Eazypod auto for my 4000litre pond at the beginning of the year. Set up a TapLink to autofill the pond All good until twice in the last 10days the pond has drained 800litres. I can’t find a leak anywhere. In between draining, the water level doesn’t drop. If tested the autofill and it seems to work. Any ideas?

    Hi
when i had an easypod auto the waste ball valve cracked allowing it too leak. it could also be slightly open due too something not allowing it too close fully.

Thank you Rolo. EA suggested the same but it’s been hard to tell whether there’s an ongoing leak as everything has been sodden by the weekend weather. However, the pond has stopped draining again. Will have to keep a close eye on things

    hi
only a suggestion if you press clean mode and as soon as its emptied turn the power off you can then remove the valve and check the ceramic ball valve by either taking it out. or connect waste pipe striaght too the pod turn on the power and watch ball valve turn.
and ive just thought this time of year trees dropping their leaves could have jammed ball valve but now managed too clear its self.

too cut down on cleaning. if you put a sieve in front of the easypod then pump too the easypod you'll be suprised how much crap the sieve
collect . most have no moving parts so no wear and tear. so pump too sieve vari pump too easypod gravity back too pond.

That’s a good idea. In fact my pump is housed in a netting covered frame to stop large debris entering the filter. The filter is now cleaned out and pristine. Fingers crossed no more draining!
