To run pumps etc in filter house for the pond, anyone got that sort of setup, my running costs are getting expensive ?

Sort of, mine runs my house, office and Pond to a fashion... albeit I use an EV tariff to run the ASHP at night, as I make more money selling the excess power stored in batteries (or using on wet days) than I would running the ASHP at night using up the stored power

What is it you are thinking of, just a small inverter, a couple of PV panels and some battery storage?

What sort of power are you wanting to counter??

Just to run pond and filter house costing me around 20quid a week at moment, at 64 I don't fancy paying 150 quid a month for the next maybe 15yrs to run the house. the pond will probably be gone by then and hopefully we would have moved.

Okay that makes sense... you should be able to pick a small system up, it may be even worth looking at some 2nd hand panels if you need to keep the costs down.

What power is your pond using, less than 1 KWph?
