Pipe Work
i only have one outlet from my drum into my bio chamber, with adding a heat pump soon would i be able to put a tee between the drum and bio and take a pumped feed off to the bakki ?
i dont want to be pulling too much flow through the Bio . any ideas on if this would work or any alternatives would be appreciated.

it may be a silly question... Will you still be running the Bakki in the winter, is it protected from cold wind/chills?

Hmmmmm if I am reading that right, I do not see why that wouldn't work, maybe with a branched T rather than a straight T, as that may cause more turbulence/noise/vibration on the pipework <thinking>
Is there a UV there somewhere too?

Swept, that's the word I wanted too

Well I see no reason why it wouldn't work, it's helping split the load coming out of your drum, and both getting UV treatment, so sounds a good plan, you even then have 2 options to divert/isolate if you need to on one of the runs, assuming you will install gates or something

Hi John, the drum will do 25m3 per hour which i think equates to 25000l per hour max. i have a 20k vari pump on the bio pulling through the drum and bio out to heat pump and pond, i am currently running at 60% which i think equates to 12000 l ph. i have a 10000l ph vari i am going to put on the bakki so in theory i could run that at max and still be within drum parameters, not that i will need to.
hope you can understand what i am saying and in theory it will work ?
Thanks
Jed
