oase fitoclear 19000

Hi
I have just bought a oase filtoclear 19000and the clamping ring does not tighten so just spins round. Has anyone encountered this please?

Have you got the big rubber seal in the correct position? They are a bastard to put back and keep the seal in the right place.

2660 Gallons. 4" Bottom Drain and Skimmer. Draco Solum 16 Drum. Anoxic Filtration. Air lift returns.
