pH and ORP meter
Good morning.
Does anyone use a meter for constant monitoring of pH and ORP?
If so, could you recommend a good and efficient one with replaceable probes?
Many thanks.
Hopefully it was meant to be but Derby Koi were reviewing the Kactoily 7 in 1. With the discount offered I’ve gone for it.

Rather than constantly observing such things, it would be better to observe the KOI itself more.
As long as that basic attitude remains unchanged, the day will not come in my lifetime when Japanese enthusiasts and you will share values.

Hi Denise, I been using the Kactoily 7in1 for a year and it's useful for Temperature, pH, TDS and ORP readings - yes. display thumbnail_IMG_20240626_124920055_MFNR.jpg
The Salt reading has never returned to 0.0 since I had it at 0.6% a long time ago, but it worked properly when raised. The Specific Gravity is not realy any use as it's forever 1.00 and the us/cm reading not important to me, maybe if using RO?
I have the probes in the clean water return from the filter so they don't get much dirt but I do clean them occasionally in a Virkon solution, they seem to be working well so far.Latest: Sansai Budo Goromo Yamabuki, Nisai; ShiroUtsuri OchibaShigure,Tosai; Beni Kikokryu,KinMuji

Surely water quality is important?
I observe my Koi as often as possible even to the extent where I now have a submerged camera where I can see them even if I’m not home.
My Koi are pets and I truly care for them.
