    Electrical connections

    My outside electrical supplies/items for the pond are at their life`s end.
    what are you using nowadays ?
    In particular junction boxes with at least four outlets

    I'm not a fan of switch boxes and such like. The thought of messing around late at night in the freezing cold to disconnect / reconnect wiring after a pump failure puts me right off, and then of course the risk of the switch box itself failing.


    I put a plug on everything, so much easier.

    I use these for the main filter pit:

    And one of these oustide at the far end of the garden for the Heat Pump, (from a separate consumer unit to the filter pit supply) which is also handy for occasional gardening power tools:

    Don't forget to close the lids before turning sprinkler on

    Thank you, very helpful, sockets with inbuilt certainly try one of those !
    I require a number of sockets in different locations so will continue with switchboxes
    & they appear to be more substantial than my tatty ones.

    No sprinklers here, just let the grass go a delicate shade of brown 🤓
