Thread: New liner. When to put my fish back!

Hi all.
I've bitten the bullet and ripped out the old black plastic type liner which barely lasted 10 years. Now I'm on rubber 0.75 with loads of underlay and better carved out clay shelfs I'm happier. And it's deeper. The pond is being filled now as we speak with the tap. And I'm running the filter with it. I've added dechlorinator to my 2000 gallon pond. Now. The 50 fish are in holding tank with a pond solutions mini filter/aerator running. 2 days later I took out 10 small buckets of water and put in some spare original water as a change. How long do these fish have to stay in here before release.?

if its been fed through a dechlorinator,part way there.Check out Ph7.0- 8.3,KH 6-8. well oxygenated.Good to go if temperature is 14-17 degrees. Once in keep regular check on ammonia and nitrate levels until filter matured.Phosphate level, not harmful, but 1.0 mg/ litre will keep algae growth down.
