    EZ 4000 Integra

As bit of an EZ Pond fanboy I've Just come across this video Alan at EZ Ponds, new Integra 4000 setup.

I must say as a 'Plug and Play' set up it is quite impressive? All be it not the easiest to possibly add too or expand on, especially filter wise. Still I'm still very, very jealous..

It wont be cheap either, but as a previous owner of an EZ1200i, I can say they are exceptionally well built, finished and a genuine piece of quality kit.

A similar size professionally block built and fiberglassed pond with a filter house is still maybe a better option for the more experienced keeper, that is maybe on their 2nd or 3rd pond build and will be considerably cheaper on the face of it, especially if you are planning on staying put at a property long term. But then once built and in the ground it is basically part of the property and has no residual value.

That's where the prefab EZ comes in. It does have the advantage of some residual value as it can be sold on if you ever want to give the hobby up ???? or are forced too and if /when you do move house (Even if you have come out with the ' I'm never moving again ' speech) you can crane it out, clean it up and either sell it (as I did) or take it with you, then re-plant it without the repeat build costs again. All be it you still need some groundwork.

I still think I will still end up going down the build it yourself route, purely because I wont have the funds available for something like this and all the kit needed this time, but I can still see the obvious attraction of EZ especially if there are funds available.

I have a full , brick built, in / out ground pond fibreglassed by Ez ponds but really love their complete kit.

Well made , cheaper than a full build unless you are doing it yourself and portable!.
