New to Koi - carp have spawned, what next?
Hi.
Built a pond last year to take ownership of a good friends dads koi who sadly passed away. Have around 20 koi carp including some very nice Japanese koi.
The new pond is around 4 times larger than the last, circa 10m by 5m in size, deepest point around 6 feet. Circa 55k litres.
From what my friend has told me, the fish have never spawned previously, but have done this year. I now have between 300-500 small fry, about 1-2 inches long currently.
At which point do I need to net, and/or build a smaller pond for the fish to grow? Is this necessary? Is there anything I need to be mindful of to ensure the fish grow properly and do not die?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for any silly questions / points.

Wow there's a lot! Put them up for sale very cheaply I should think. Or for free. You have a lot to shift and pond spawns aren't exactly popular.
