    Water tests for Metals?

What are you guys using for testing pond and/or tap water for metals? I've only seen the multipurpose test strips at reasonable price, is there anything better - but still on a budget

    Cheers, John

    no where near sensitive enough...
you want to be testing down to ug/l or PPB
    not mg/l PPM
6 parts per billion for a maximum safe level of copper.
the conclusion i came to is pay for lab tests at over 100 every month,
or just dose a heavy metal chleating agent once a week to catch anything that gets past the bone char....

My JBL kit tests for various metals - they are always negative, but Dave says they don't test low enough. (as he's repeated above).

You could go down these routes:

    https://www.triton-lab.de/en/icp-oes

    https://www.reef-zlements.com/reef-zlements-tests

Had both windows open on my PC for over a year now and still haven't got round to following up on either.
