    Sealant for polypropylene

Has anyone come across a adhesive/sealant that will bond to polypropylene?

I want to add a couple of outlets to the base of my bottom tray in my shower and donít fancy splashing out on a new bottom tray

I would use Sikaflex 295UV but then Im lazy . A better solution is a 2-part I suspect. I think the 3M DP8010 is a better solution but never used it. PP is similar to acrylic which is my experience in terms of bonding ( Im not a chemist !) but worth trying imho.

on tank connecters I use ha6 as the gasket but if your blocking the weir maybe ct1.
So if doing both maybe use ct1 as 1 purchase.

Is the outlet to the weir a hole?
Maybe a photo would help Bri.

The issue is, CT1 as with most sealants doesnít bond to Polypropylene (or at least as far as Iím aware it doesnít)

I have always resorted to a mechanical connection when using PP. Sometimes use a sealant as a "gasket" in such cases.
