    Black Friday deals

If anyone sees any bargains put them here. So far all I have seen is Shosha Koi doing 10% off with the code 'sumi'

Seems Koi Dealers didn't get into the Black Friday Spirit this year!

Draco used to do some good Black Friday deals on their drums, I never checked this year, but when I was in the market for one 2 years back that was a little more than I could afford I waited for Black Friday and there was no discounts offered, so I called up and spoke to Tony who said we just can't afford to knock any money off.

It's all about timing isn't it. I've been looking for a second hand combi drum for some time and eventually a draco medius came along with some fittings, 150lts (poss more) of hel-x 13 for £500. Couldn't turn it down at that price.
Just need to fit the bugger now!

Indeed. Need to pour a new concrete pad so these freezing temps can do one!.

I'll try and hold onto the old filters (easypod/tempest combo) till spring. They'll make a great grown on set up for someone

    That's a great deal.

Earlier this year there was some incredible prices on 2nd hand drums and other high end kit where so many people were closing down. Even saw another one of my own drum being offered at £1200 which is £500 less than I paid for mine (Now up to £2850 new).

These are based right next to where I used to live.

Started out as a tiny shop, you couldn't move without knocking something off a shelf! He had all the tanks and vats out the back, mainly fancy goldfish but a few cheaper koi as well and some tropicals.

The shop was always so busy and I couldn't understand why it suddenly closed, until I saw their new premises:

The place is huge, stacked floor to ceiling with stock.

Think I've had uv bulb and quartz from them . Quick cheap . Had one quartz broke on delivery but sorted straight away no problem at all . Things happen but it's how you deal with it and they (from my experience) were spot on

Looks good that Steve, although disappointed by the lack of bottom drain and drums included My little girl loves the pond, the window makes it accessible for her too and she loves to stroke her favourite fish 'pearl' which is a 60cm karashigoi

It's nice when the kids take an interest in the koi.
My g/kids allways ask if they can feed the fish.

The eBay feedback for this shower media is all very positive.

Looks like you get a lot of it for your money too. I'd probably buy it.

An alternative is this, which I have, and is exactly the same size and visually looks identical, but more expensive as I don't think there was any more than 40 in my box:
