Koi pond in the USA!
Evening all,
Thought I would share this, as I find it interesting how different the approaches towards keeping koi are in the UK vs the USA.
These guys have a good YouTube channel, and their monster aquarium fish stuff is pretty interesting. The 35,000 gallon koi pond though is something else! The construction (liner, loads of big rocks/gravel, lilies, skimmers into a big wetland filter) and seeing how the ponds are maintained and winterised is very different. I’m sure they would probably survive, but I’d be worried to see my koi torpid like this. I wonder if they have issues with parasites and koi damage?
